The Metro: Exterior Video

We’re taking a quick look at our Metro Series with a drone’s eye view. This house lives in Bozeman, Montana and is one of our newest designs.

Despite its modern looks, this home features layout elements typical of many suburban family homes. It’s also the first Timberbuilt home specifically designed for a narrow lot with neighbors on both sides.

Shop Timber Framers Cutting Rafters | Video

We’re excited for this commercial project — it gives us a chance to ad something significant to our hometown. It also offers us a reason to bug our shop guys and their formidable leader with a camera. This is pretty much a typical day here, making lots of noise and sawdust (and cutting some big Doug fir rafters for the longshed).

This fall we’re building a historical longshed building at Canalside on the Buffalo waterfront. Our team will be handling the timber frame and SIP panel installation. Details here: Longshed Timber Frame at Canalside in Buffalo

Kodiak Timber Frame Flyby | Video

Drone footage of our project in Kodiak, Alaska. Our portion of this build is complete but the crew in Alaska continues working hard to finish this home.

This is our Olive design, customized for the clients at Cliff Point Estates. Thanks to Cannon Media for the photography. Check out floor plans and construction pics here: Timber Frame in Kodiak.

Update: May 2020 — this home is finished. See our FEATURE GALLERY for a look inside and out.

Building A Timber Frame Cabin | Video

We edited a short video of our team building this timber frame cabin in a solar powered city in Florida.

Babcock Ranch developers chose to work with Timberbuilt because of our style and our energy efficient building envelopes.  Our cabin design can be dressed to sport a rustic appeal, but under their wooden surface you’ll find the SIPs wall and roof panels are full of air-tight foam insulation.

This video gives you a good idea of what we handle (design, engineering, installation of the timbers and panels) and what we do not. It also shows off our timber frame crew in action.
