We haven’t built in Florida since our contribution to the solar-powered city at Babcock Ranch. We’re excited for this return. This home features a front entry — it’s one we’ve built many times, in many places and is consistently one of our most popular. We sent our favorite photographer, Kim Smith, into the remote wilderness on the western border of Glacier National Park to check up on our clients in Polebridge, Montana. This is no small task as the house sits a full hour’s drive (by dirt road) off the power grid. The house runs on a combination of hydro-electric and solar power thus creating the rare “perfect-storm” for us here at Timberbuilt — epic location, off-grid, ultra-efficient, and looks to kill for…

When Cliff Point Estates asked us to be part of their project in Kodiak, Alaska we promptly designed two houses, and prepped our field team for a trip north to install the timber frames and the wall and roof panels.

Our team is back in Western NY after building in the snow-packed hills outside of Prescott, Arizona.
A trip to Arizona in February was supposed to give our guys a break from winter weather, but instead the crew was blindsided by a historical storm that brought almost two feet of snow and whiteout blizzards.
