Micro Series cabins feature clean and classic timber architecture and sport the same energy efficient enclosure systems as our full-size residential homes.
They come in two flavors — a small 4-season house, and an even smaller 3-season cabin.
Both are engineered to handle snow loads and climate extremes across the continent. We’ve built homes from southern Florida to the wilds of Alaska.
Unlike our homes, Micros can be shipped as a kit. We can mail you one or travel to your site for installation.

Accessory dwelling units are designed as small independent residences that include a kitchen and a bathroom. They offer separate, private accommodations for guests and are styled with mountain modern aesthetics.
These units provide extremely comfortable, healthy living space. They feature the same high-efficiency enclosures that we install on our homes.
The walls and roof are constructed using structural insulated panels (SIPs). These pre-insulated panels create an air-tight interior living space, which vastly improves air quality, sound management, and temperature regulation.

Multipurpose legacy outbuildings can flex into a variety of uses while adding architectural pop to your property.
Don’t let the “3-season” label fool you.
These mini cabins utilize a smaller SIP panel (which makes assembly easier) but the enclosures are airtight, keeping out pests, and providing more than enough insulation to comfortably heat with a wood stove through the winter.
Low Slope Micro-Cabin

Put these classic cabins in the woods, on the range, or on the waterfront.
They can be styled to match a variety of tastes and are equally suited as a destination playhouse for kids, a paradise garden shed, or a deep wilderness outpost for expedition outdoor excursions.

Unlike the ADUs, Timberbuilt mini cabins do not require a full foundation and can be installed on a set of DIY-friendly concrete piers.
