Burke Series | Boston, NY | Construction Progress
This Burke was customized to fit the lifestyle of a growing family while keeping the spirit of the original design intact. A raised ceiling in the great room allows for additional clerestory windows, bringing natural light deep into the space from both the front and back walls. The home was lengthened by about 15 feet to create a more open flow—relocating the stairs to the entry and making room for French doors that lead from the great room to a future patio.
The typical screen porch was enclosed to form a bright, music-filled space for the family’s piano, and a new breezeway connects seamlessly to a two-car garage designed to complement the home’s architecture.
