Timber Frame Construction

Is your build site in North America..?
Great, we’ll come to you.

We’ve put up homes in more than thirty-five states and two Canadian provinces. If you’re in one of the handful of states that Timberbuilt hasn’t built in yet we’d love to add you to the map.

Erecting your timber frame home is included as a standard part of our timber and panel package. Although we offer a DIY option, nine out of ten clients elect to have the experts at Timberbuilt do the heavy lifting.

After months of planning, nothing compares to the satisfaction of watching your house take shape in just a few days. Here’s what Timberbuilt’s build process looks like from start to finish.

Timberbuilt’s Process

Prior to Timberbuilt’s arrival your GC will put in the foundation (Timberbuilt supplies the foundation plans), back fill the site and put in the first floor deck and plywood subfloor. This gives Timberbuilt a platform to build on.

This is what a jobsite looks like immediately prior to Timberbuilt’s arrival.

A Timberbuilt hybrid home integrate SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) as a structural part of the shell. Our field crew will stand up a timber and then a SIP, fitting the pieces together until the walls are in place.

The roof is the final step. For most builds we can use a telehandler, however, for sites that are difficult to navigate we may use a crane.

This is what your home will look like once Timberbuilt has finished erecting the shell. Our field will be leaving the job site shortly, but that doesn’t mean our work is done.

From the first day of design until the day you move in, Timberbuilt will be on hand to help you through the build process. After we leave the job site we’ll continue working with you and your GC to answer questions, offer advice, and keep your project running smoothly.

For instance, you’re not going to believe this but we didn’t ask Guy to make this video. He told us to hit the record button because he wanted to share his experience working with Timberbuilt.
